I'm all alone in this super cold room. . . I remembered while I was with StarHub, my seat was just by the entrance to the server room. . . So each time the IT guys open the door. . . My hands would freeze. . .
But now my office temperature is definitely lower than where I once use to seat. . . I'm directly in the server room. . . Can you imagine that. . .
While typing this, in between I would pause to rub my palms. . . It's crazy. . . Stuck in this male working environment, I must say is a bit boring. . . I don't make new girl friends except for my mentor who would be returning from her maternity leave soon enough. . . But probably we won't even have time to even interact looking at the huge stacks of paper on her table. . .
Everyone else has gone for lunch but I'm here in the office. . . Absolutely no company. . . But grateful for once, I don't have to join those MENs talk bout MEN stuff which would be utterly boring for me. . .
So probably now I can tell the real story and how I felt leaving StarHub. . .
Actually I secured my current job first before finally deciding to leave StarHub for good. . . Too many politics and too many drama-mama there. . . Before I drown myself further into their politic crisis with such a low pay, I decided that my Diploma could be put to good use. . So I decided to take up a new challenge as an IT Support Officer with S.Police.Force.
Completely a different type of working environment. . . Major changes for Missy-Me. . . But I'm liking it. . . So far so GOOD!
When I was a kid, My mum, just like all other mum's out there would pull a trick and scare me out of my wits whenever I was naughty. . . She would threatened that the police man would handcuff me and bring me to a place far far away from home. . . So that's how I grew afraid looking at this Blue man every day of my life. . . but those feelings finally gave way cause I'm working with them now. . .
They are just like normal human beings. . . They have feelings, they get tired like us and NO they do not cuff naughty children. . .
So anyway leaving StarHub was definitely the wise-st thing. . . I'm happy here although it gets a little chilly all the time. . . But definitely I'll miss those friends I made with StarHub. . . and I'm glad too that we're still in contact. . .
