I really want to reward myself . . .

Yes I've not been good. . . this year. . . But I really think I deserve a good reward at the end of the year and tp motivate myself to work harder or at least look for a better prospect. . .

Aiyah. . . End of the year is coming to an end soon. . . 3+ more months to go. . I really cannot wait. . . Next month is already the fasting month then hari raya then. . . coming to end of year all the festivals and stuff and tadaaa . . . end of year. . . That's really fash eh. . .

Anyways Fiance's Aunt from the US is coming back to Singapore next month just after my birthday. . . So i have personally ordered a birthday gift from US. . . heheheeh. . .

Initially had a few choices. . . in mind. . But decided to settle for a bag. . .

I pay 10% he pay 90%. . . hehehehe see how lah. . and that is if the Auntie is okay with helping me buy. . . Otherwise looks like I have to buy it myself in Singapore which will be much more $$$$expensive. . .

If he really gets me this. . then it only means that my 13th month bonus is untouched. . . which only means I'll be getting something again. . . ahhhh. . . so good. . . I cannot wait . . . cannot wait. . . really cannot wait. . .

I received a message that made me hungry

Damn. . . This morning was half asleep half awake, mum entered my room and purposely switched on the TV and of course i was awaken by it lah. . . So joined her watch the Indonesian Drama. .. Right after that, since PAY is in kaching. . . Paid all the bills online and. . . suddenly I received this message that made me hungry. . .

"Maple syrup infused griddle cakes, sausage patty, egg & cheese. hungry?"

I didn't even scroll down, it was all displayed on the same screen and I'm already imagining it. . .



Such a short and compact message that truly wet my lips. . . arrggghhhhh

The OUTSIDER

Almost bout 2 months back, we accepted The OUTSIDER!

My lil sister would bring her home on weekends and keep her in this big tupperware where no one would know of her existence. . . But sometimes when lil sis forgot to feed it, she roars like a lion and demand to be left out in the open. . . On a few occasion, lil sis would inform me when she's home so we can keep her company. . .

One day, I was at lil sis's room looking thru some clothes to wear and suddenly I heard loud scratches. . . My mind was wondering somewhere else until I stood still bending a forward a lil and open up my ears I heard a faint,




"Meow. . . . "



heheeh I knew she was here. . . I lifted the lid and let her out and from that day on she was ours to keep. . .

Mum seems okay with her and she's a really lucky kitten. . .


She's got a CAGE of her own in pink, a CAT LITTER also in pink and also a PET TRAVEL BAG in pink too. . . not forgetting the PINK HARNESS and PINK CAT CHAIN. . . and no it doesn't have fake eyelash that I love to put on and no it doesn't have the pink glasses. . .
and yes it's so lucky it's even been on a Grooming Session. . .

Last week me and big sis's off day we brought her to Pet Lovers Centre at Vivo . . . for some grooming. . . Wah . . she was enjoying it . . . paid $40+ for it and tadaa. . . she was clean. . .
So clean she smells of baby powder. . . that's because they powder her before we took her back. . . She's really not scared of dogs I tell ya. . .

There were lots of dogs. . and the most especially naughty one Milo who's been locked up in the cage with that mouth harness thing. . . Definitely naughty but my baby was not scared hor. . . She's very brave. . .

So talking bout pets. . . Was looking thru some webby on managing Miss Pussy. . . and suddenly came across this website http://www.catwelfare.org/page/id/27

OMG! The cats are so cute. . . I'm considering to adopt another one. . . ahahaha yeah in my dreams as if Mom say okay. . but i'll try if I can support Miss Pussy why not right . . . maybe I wanna have a Male Kitty so at least they can mate and I can still keep more kittens. . . heheheeheh

WHAT I DO AT WORK?

Hmmmm. . . Most of the time I do a lot of multi-tasking at work.

It's almost impossible not to multi-task. . .
Yes there's alot of do's and don'ts that you have to comply with at work but most of the time, so long as you don't do the "Don'ts" at the wrong timing. . . Nothing will go wrong. . .
So when I do the "Don'ts" I will also keep a good look out on who normally would walk the aisle. .

Anyways. . .
Been looking thru lots of things lately and planning lots of holidays too. . .
November this year will be going to Hong Kong so and most importantly going holiday with the family and also the in-laws too bee this December is what I'm eagerly anticipating. . .

but not sure yet where to visit this December, prolly will just visit Malaysia but not sure which part yet. . .

Mom and Dad - they are very laid back, almost everytime we go for holidays, they usually travel close to the hotel and I know Mom and Dad really is in need of one. . . So since resort view is so nice. . . They can enjoy their time in the hotel if they don't wanna go out of it. . .

Kak Ita and Family - Very cin-cai type. . . anywhere is better than nowhere and especially the view of the sea will drive them nuts. . .

Fiance - Just look at the map. . .
what did the green circle say. . . Close to F1 Sepang Circuit. . . Yes it is. . . It's definitely a YES!


Auntie - She suggested this place definitely she likes it right. . .

Clock's TICKING so SLOW!

Believe it or not, the clock is playing tricks on me. It's moving so slow, yes so slow-mo. I cannot wait till the end of work.

Not sure what the Fiance have planned out for me, but seriously I don't think it's gonna be anything fancy. SHIT! shouldn't have worn these pair of heels to work.

Managed to paint me fingers at work. . . Update Mr Bloggy, was downstairs twice for ciggy, one during lunch and one during break and also went to the ladies 3 times. . . Manage to watch Korean Movie which also seems to be in slow-mo too. . .

and now I'm still left with prolly 1.5 hrs left. Could this get any more longer? arrgghhh. . . So let's see. . . I really need to do something. . .

Ahhh. . . Wedding Preparations. . . Let's see I have about 2 years, 1 mth and 15 days more. . . Him and Me decided for 1st October 2010. Falls on the 7th Year Anniversary. . . No worries for me, I've hid this blog far far far away from him hoping that he doesn't read it anymore so that even if he reads it, he won't get that kan-chiong feel that he's really gonna be married in 2 years time. Guys are super kan-chiong too but he's kan-chiongness would normally have a negative impact on me, so I'd rather hide this blog. . .

So I'm still gonna write and prepare myself early. Cause I'm scared I'll be out of budget and yes of course looking at how I would spent my monthly earnings, I seriously should draw this out. . . and if you have any contributions, tag me babes.

My Name and Why I hated it!

Still remembered back then, while I was in Secondary School. . .

The very first time an ex-RGS teacher Mrs Nalla, was transferred over to my school Dunearn Secondary School and since she came. . . She also initiated a lot of major changes in school-life.

Like Example

A) The last 10 mins of class would be cleaning time. The AVA member would be playing some boyband music and the whole class needs to tidy up litters, sweep and bla bla bla

B) If I'm not wrong also insisted on us walking 2 by 2 in a very orderly arrangement, which never happened unless it's infront of her

C) The biggest change, to wear a name tag.

Yes talking about name, I'm sure all of you have had this question kept in you for the longest time possible . . . probably since you guys know me and then since it's your first time hearing my name and knowing that such name exist.



So here goes, I was named Sahara Melissa 23 years ago.

Mum said, grand-dad adored me so much so he was given the honour of naming me and he chose Sahara.

Granny said, Mum felt sad that it's not really a nice name so she added Melissa at the back.



Let's put aside, respect and all. I totally respect my grandad and Mum.

But I seriously think Mum should have done better at ensuring I didn't have such a name. Cause somethings just stays in my mind and it's quite difficult now to reassure myself that I have a beautiful and unique name.



When i was a kid, I was pretty ignorant but I remembered what happened when I was attending a mock-oral exam when I was in Primary 4, I was 10 years old. The 2 teachers who took me in for the oral exam laughed so hard at me and even managed tears of joy. She was disgusting, luckily I can't remember how she looked like, cause revenge is sweet.

Then I remembered those smirk and that pair of evil eyes looking at me each time I introduce myself as Sahara. Just hated it, I knew behind my back they were enjoying my sadness. Really hated it.

And also there were some, who purposely would pronounce my name wrongly because probably in their heart they were trying very hard to possibly not associate me with the Desert.

And oh yeah there's also this once when friends started asking me, hey what does your name mean. I have a hard time answering too. Cause then again they'll start laughing when I really answered the truth.

Honestly it's hard keeping up with this name especially when I'm so pessimistic about it.

and YES! like finally the photos are out. . . Actually have already put it up on Friendster and Facebook last week but can't find time to blog. . . So here goes. . .

So it started on Saturday morning. . . I woke up at 7 plus I think and started to clean up my room and did I mentioned started. . . YES I cleaned my room on the very day it self. . . heheheeh Last minute thingy. . .

Then my bestie came about 10 plus but I was still stinky cause haven't bath yet. . . and fetch her downstairs despite the oh-so-stupid-pantang that I can't come down on the day itself to avoid any mishaps. . . I still did fetch her downstairs for a quick smoky get-away. . . Really needed it. . .

and also my boyfriend came about 11 plus to pass me some monies cause can't withdraw since I'm not allowed to go more than 500 metres radius from my place. . . So another pantang I also don't care about meeting the groom before the event itself. . . hahahahah

all the stuff and room was done say about 1 plus. . . But sadly the stupid mural thing I want on my wall with my picture. . . Didn't had time to do that. . .So instead we settle for something more simpler. . .

So let's begin. . .
The Food caterer came in early. . . In fact damn early. . . Was laid out say about 12 in the afternoon whereas the engagement started at 4pm. . . Crazy huh. . .
So there you go nicely laid out. . . and I only get to eat the leftovers. . . SAD!


So here I am. . . still doing the make up. . . Damn he started at 2pm and ended about 3:45pm. . . it was boring. . . .


So like finally I was dressed and they were already on their way. . .
